HOW DOES RED-CARPET CORRIDOR PROJECT DUBAI-IT?

The project embodies the Dubai-it approach by delivering a travel experience unlike any other globally, transforming passenger processing at Dubai International Airport into a seamless smart journey with no stopping and no need to present any documents.

It reduced processing time to among the shortest in the world, completing procedures in less than 5 seconds and eliminating waiting time, allowing passengers to complete passport control while simply walking through.

It developed a smart corridor capable of verifying the identities of up to 10 passengers simultaneously using biometric technology and artificial intelligence, increasing capacity tenfold.

It eliminated steps that passengers previously had to complete, enabling identity verification and passport control to take place automatically without presenting travel documents.

The project has served millions of passengers and achieved a passenger satisfaction rate of 99.81%.

It electronically integrated its systems with all partners, generating annual savings of more than AED 24 million while improving operational efficiency.

The project introduced the world to an unprecedented travel experience and became a model for the level of quality, efficiency, and service excellence Dubai can deliver.

Winning the Dubai-it Award for the “Red Carpet” project marks the beginning of an even greater responsibility to continue raising the bar of ambition and build on what has already been achieved. We are proud of the efforts of our teams and partners who contributed to this success, and we will continue working as one team to translate the vision of our wise leadership into new achievements, reaffirming that Dubai does not wait for the future, but helps shape it.
